Pendidikan Berbasis Kewirausahaan sebagai Strategi Penguatan Ekonomi Lokal: Sebuah Kajian Pustaka

Pendidikan merupakan pilar utama dalam membentuk sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang unggul, adaptif, dan berdaya saing global. Artikel ini menyoroti peran strategis pendidikan kewirausahaan dalam menjawab tantangan ketenagakerjaan, rendahnya daya saing, serta ketergantungan ekonomi pada sektor tertentu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode literature review dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk menganalisis kontribusi pendidikan kewirausahaan terhadap peningkatan kompetensi individu, penguatan usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM), serta pembangunan ekonomi lokal yang berkelanjutan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi kewirausahaan ke dalam kurikulum sekolah dan perguruan tinggi, pelatihan berbasis praktik, program magang, serta kolaborasi antara lembaga pendidikan, pemerintah, dan pelaku usaha mampu meningkatkan keterampilan, kreativitas, serta motivasi wirausaha generasi muda. Selain memberikan manfaat langsung bagi peserta didik, program ini juga memperkuat ekosistem kewirausahaan melalui penciptaan lapangan kerja baru, pengembangan produk lokal, serta pemanfaatan teknologi digital. Dengan dukungan kebijakan, inovasi, dan evaluasi berkelanjutan, pendidikan kewirausahaan dapat menjadi motor penggerak lahirnya generasi muda yang mandiri, inovatif, serta siap menghadapi tantangan ekonomi global sekaligus memperkuat pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah secara inklusif dan berkelanjutan.
