Alfikr: Journal of Islamic Studies
Alfikr: Journal of Islamic Studies is peer-reviewed international journal published biannually by Yayasan Al-Islah Bungo. It specializes in Indonesian Islamic studies in particular, and Southeast Asian Islamic studies in general, and is intended to communicate original research and current issues on the subject. This journal warmly welcomes contributions from scholars of related disciplines. This journal is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This journal is published twice a year, June and December in online version.

JUSFAM: Journal of Islamic Family Law is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by the Department of Islamic Family Law (Hukum Keluarga Islam), Faculty of Law and Communication, Universitas Islam An-Nadwah Kuala Tungkal, Indonesia. The journal serves as an academic forum for disseminating original research, conceptual papers, and critical reviews that advance knowledge and contemporary discourse in the field of Islamic Family Law from normative, comparative, socio-legal, and interdisciplinary perspectives.
JUSFAM is committed to promoting high-quality scholarship that explores the dynamic interaction between Islamic legal traditions, national legal systems, customary law, international legal developments, and the evolving realities of Muslim family life. The journal welcomes contributions that critically examine legal reform, judicial practice, gender justice, child protection, family welfare, digital transformation, and emerging issues affecting Islamic family law in local, regional, and global contexts.
The journal encourages interdisciplinary research integrating Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh), uṣūl al-fiqh, maqāṣid al-sharīʿah, legal studies, sociology, anthropology, gender studies, public policy, human rights, and digital governance. JUSFAM particularly welcomes empirical, doctrinal, comparative, and policy-oriented studies that contribute to the development of innovative legal thought and evidence-based policymaking in the field of Islamic family law.
JUSFAM publishes manuscripts in English and Bahasa Indonesia and applies a double-blind peer-review process to ensure academic integrity, originality, and scientific quality. All submitted manuscripts are evaluated based on their originality, methodological rigor, theoretical contribution, and relevance to contemporary developments in Islamic Family Law.
The journal is published biannually, with two issues each year in June and December.
